Pharmed Marketing interviewed a few pharmacies who requested Umvuzi services; here is what they had to say:
Sagren Moodley from Whetstone Pharmacy in Durban found that the Known Value Item (KVI) list very beneficial to
him with regards to guidance on his regular Pharmed purchases. Sagren stated in the interview:
"I found that the consumer engagement and social media services requested increased the feet and boosted sales in my pharmacy, I also noticed that my usual customers who always request delivery of their medication now prefer to come into my pharmacy to collect their medication because of the awareness, specials, interaction and relationships being built between Whetstone Pharmacy and consumers".
Sagren also benefited from and saw value in the bespoke survey Pharmed Umvuzi offered, as now he understands his consumer's requirements and is working on other ways to be better placed to support them further. Sagren also stated that he is completely happy with Pharmed and that the Umvuzi Loyalty Programme is definitely a differentiating factor in the Pharmaceutical market as it provides well needed support to the independent pharmacy.
Joe Kruger and Patricia Ho from Norwood Pharmacy in Johannesburg requested the Clinic Set-up
and advice service from Umvuzi. Patricia stated:
"We were very happy with the way Pharmed assisted in setting up our new clinic with promotional materials such as flyers, posters and signage"
They advised that the clinic launch in March went well and that the clinic does bring feet into the pharmacy which they believe will increase in the next few months with winter approaching.
Isgak Ismail and his daughter Zeenat Ismail from REO Pharmacy in Cape Town requested the consumer
engagement service from Umvuzi. Zeenat stated:
"We found the flyers worked well, we did have new customer walk in’s asking about the specials on the flyers and posters."
They advised that there was an increase in sales due to the promotions on the flyers, posters and shelf talkers.
